Description
The Sparkle Dun was originally tied for the selective trout of the Henry's Fork, and quickly became a favorite everywhere. Somewhere between emerger and dun, a z-lon shuck imitates the final stages of emergence before the dun is ready to sun its wings and fly away. The fly's splayed deer hair wing offers a great wing profile, and offers good visibility while still riding low.
