Similar to the UC655BL-BN, the UC660BL-BN is a standard wide gape competition style jig hook, but this model features a straight barbless point for anglers who want to maximize their hook gape without moving all the way up to an extra wide gape hook like the UC650BL-BN. It pairs well with standard slotted tungsten beads to create a variety of European-style tactical nymphs that ride point-up in the water. If you want to maximize the available shank length when tying on this hook, try it with Umpqua’s Jig Bomb beads instead.
