In honor of two legendary guides, Gilberto "Pato" Rubio and Eladio "Señor" Chin, Casa Blanca and Playa Blanca Fishing Lodges are hosting two celebratory weeks in July, 2025. The heart and soul of their fishing operations, Pato and Eladio are transitioning into well-earned retirement and deserve to be sent off in style.
To celebrate their contributions to these fisheries and the many memories they have made for anglers over the years, Casa and Playa are donating a percentage of rates to their retirement funds for these weeks! On top of that, anglers have the incredibly unique opportunity to fish at both lodges, spending 3 days at each and fishing both Ascension and Espiritu Santo Bay.
During the week, all guides will be rotated, including Pato and Eladio. Each night will feature special Mexican menus, and guests will take home memorabilia including tribute caps, shirts, and an electronic memory book. A gala night will be held on Friday in honor of both guides.
