A subtle twist on the illustrious Tarpon Toad, the Tarpon Toad II leans into a puffy, marabou tail instead of the classic zonker tail. Functionally, the Tarpon Toad II fishes very much like the original—it tracks straight, suspends in the water column, and stays in the strike zone for longer than heavier patterns. The marabou has a bit more pulsing movement compared to the undulating rabbit strip of the original. Either way, you can't go wrong -- we fish this pattern with confidence everywhere tarpon swim.
