Description
The Salt Sneaker is Korkers' warm-water, saltwater-specific wading boot, built for long days wet-wading a flat or standing on a skiff deck. A non-marking Kling-On Deck rubber outsole delivers grip on both wet and dry surfaces, and a Cush-Tech midsole adds all-day underfoot comfort and support.
Ballistic seamless loom construction on the upper adds abrasion resistance and durability, while an industrial-grade, puncture-resistant internal plate protects the foot from sharp coral and other debris. Drain holes are designed to resist suctioning fine sand and silt, and hydrophobic materials speed up dry time between wears. A traditional lace closure with reinforced non-corrosive eyelets rounds out a low-profile, lightweight build made specifically for the salt.

FAQ
Who are these boots for?
The Korkers Salt Sneaker is built for anglers spending long days wading sand, grass, and coral flats, with frequent transitions on and off a skiff. An industrial-grade puncture-resistant plate protects against sharp coral, shells, and other hazards underfoot, while the low-profile design and Cush-Tech midsole provide the comfort and support needed for hours of walking and standing.
At just 1.8 pounds per pair, they offer substantial protection without being overly heavy or uncomfortable. The non-marking Kling-On Deck rubber outsole also transitions easily from the flats to a skiff without changing footwear or marking the deck. For anglers looking for a capable, cost-effective saltwater wading boot, the Salt Sneaker is particularly well suited for demanding, wade-heavy destinations like Christmas Island and the Seychelles.
What is Kling-On Deck rubber?
Kling-On Deck rubber is Korkers' non-marking outsole compound, built to grip on both wet and dry surfaces -- from a slick boat deck to a firm sand flat. It's a fixed sole on the Salt Sneaker rather than one of Korkers' swappable OmniTrax sole systems.
What is the Cush-Tech midsole?
Cush-Tech is Korkers' cushioned midsole material, built to absorb impact and return energy from heel to toe. On a boot meant for full days standing on a skiff or walking a flat, that underfoot comfort matters more than it would on a boot worn only for short stretches.
What is the industrial-grade puncture-resistant internal plate for?
A puncture-resistant internal plate sits inside the boot to protect the foot from sharp coral, shell, and other debris commonly found on flats and reef-adjacent wading grounds -- protection that a standard sneaker or water shoe doesn't offer.
How does the salt-specific drainage design work?
The Salt Sneaker's drain holes are designed to resist suctioning fine sand and silt through with each step, a common annoyance on soft-bottom flats where standard drain holes can pull grit in rather than letting water out.
