Description
The Magnitude Infinity Salt Full Clear is the same line as the Amplitude Infinity Salt and the Magnitude Infinity Salt Clear Tip — same taper, same variable head lengths (48’ at 7 wt through 53’ at 12 wt), same half-size-heavy construction. The difference is that every foot of this line is clear. Head, belly, rear taper, running line, tip. No colored sections anywhere.
The 12’ clear tip version keeps a colored head so the angler can track line position during casting. The full clear version removes that reference entirely in exchange for maximum stealth from the moment the line leaves the rod tip to the moment the fly enters the water. For the most pressured permit flats, the clearest bonefish water, and situations where fish are specifically rejecting presentations because of line visibility, the full clear is the most effective option. In most other tropical saltwater situations, the 12’ tip version is the more practical everyday choice.
DuraCoat’s dual-polymer outer coating provides better durability for clear fly lines than previous single-polymer formulations. EST+ is integrated into the coating for sustained slickness. Available in Smooth and Textured versions — on a fully clear line, the Textured version’s running line texture provides the only non-visual reference for head-to-running-line position during casting, which makes it particularly useful here. 7–12 wt, 100-foot total length, welded loops front and rear.
