Description
GOLD XP features a mid length head and a half size heavy design, making it the most versatile taper in the GOLD lineup. The added extra power compared to the classic GOLD allows it to handle a wider range of techniques and casting distances with truly balanced performance.
A medium long rear taper and well balanced body improve turnover for indicators and nymphs, while still allowing for clean, accurate dry fly presentations at distance. It is equally comfortable fishing heavier rigs through deeper pools or making quick shots from a drift boat.
Despite its added power, GOLD XP maintains the ability to deliver flies with precision and touch. The slightly heavier build also helps it load efficiently at shorter distances, making it just as effective when wading smaller water.
