EP Turneffe Micro Crab - Tan - Size 8
In Stock • Bozeman, MT
Description
The Turneffe Micro Crab, designed by Enrico Puglisi, is a small, realistic crab imitation developed for finicky bonefish and permit that frequent the shallow, clear waters of Belize’s Turneffe Atoll, but has found to be effective all over.
The body is built from Puglisi’s signature synthetic fibers, which are trimmed and blended to create a compact carapace. This micro pattern is particularly effective in skinny water or on calm, bright days when larger, bulkier crabs can spook wary fish. It is a proven option for technical fisheries where a subtle, downsized presentation can make the difference between a refusal and a solid eat.
In addition to Turneffe, this is a particularly good option for areas like Southern Belize where smaller flies can often be the difference maker.
