It's Official! Argentina to Reopen to International Tourism

May 03, 23
Argentina has officially announced that they will be opening their borders to international travelers on November 1! After nearly two years of rest, we are extremely excited for anglers to get back on the water, and we trust that this season will be one to remember. The summer season is November through April, and there is still some great availability for anglers hoping to visit South America – from trout to golden dorado, to sea-run browns, South America has it all! Below are the regulations for travelers entering Argentina:

Entry Requirements for Travelers Beginning November 1:
  • Proof of vaccination against COVID-19
  • Proof of a negative PCR test within 72 hours of traveling
  • A second test between 5 – 7 days of arrival in Argentina
    • Lodge operators will coordinate this test on your behalf
    • This test can also satisfy the US requirement for re-entry
  • **Non-vaccinated travelers can enter the country but must quarantine, and take a test on the 7th day**
