The Marksman Z was designed with input from Gold Cup winners and Florida Keys legends to create a rod that performs for every scenario. The rod aimed to improve upon their beloved Zane Pro, incorporating greater strength and lifting power for increased fighting power and to quickly deliver flies over long casts or for rapidly picking up line to fire in a second cast. The rod's highly responsive mid-section makes for a precise, powerful, and easy-to-load fly rod that can accurately deliver flies into or across strong winds, or at a moment's notice for those fish that seem to manifest from nowhere.
