A fantastic all-around trip for Matt M. and family at one of Alaska's premier destinations: The Lodge at 58 North.
"Our family had an amazing experience at 58 North. I would describe the lodge, accommodations and services as high end luxury in Alaska. A bartender/hostess for every meal and bidets in every bathroom were nice touches. Kate and Justin have grown and developed a beautiful lodge staffed with the kindest long term staff. We all felt like family by the end of the week.
The fishing was outstanding. We were not able to fish the last morning as the weather didn’t cooperate. For all other days we were able to fly in/out. As you described the fishing was fantastic and the Trout were huge. We didn’t land any 30” fish but we caught numerous 26+ fatties!
This was most of our families first Alaska trip and for a few their first real fishing trip. The girls had said they might fish a couple of days and find other activities on other days. But they all fished everyday and totally enjoyed the experience. They are all ready to return next year.
As an added bonus our kids were able to see the Northern Lights one early clear morning. It was definitely a bucket list item for them and didn’t disappoint I told my wife when we returned that this was my favorite family vacation that we have ever taken. It was a very special week. Thanks for nailing it with your recommendations for this lodge and the timing of the trip. It couldn’t have been any better. Thanks so much."
