The beautiful Ozark Mountains comprise of two mountain ranges, The Boston Mountains, which are in Arkansas, and the St. Francois Mountains, which are located in Missouri. The Boston Mountain range, located in the northwestern part of Arkansas, originates numerous trophy trout streams. Three of these streams, which are all famous in trout fishing circles throughout the world, include the White, Little Red, and North Fork Rivers. The White is most notable among the three rivers, known worldwide to consistently produce some of the finest trophy brown trout in North America.
The small fishing town of Cotter, Arkansas, is within driving distance to all of these exceptional tailwater fisheries.
