Our latest Yellow Dog Field Report takes us to one of the most unique fisheries on the planet: Christmas Island.
Program Directors Josh Mills and Alec Gerbec joined cinematographer Chris Patterson and Christmas Island Lodge co-owner Bryant Dunn to explore the endless flats, coral edges, and bluewater surrounding this remote Pacific atoll. Over the course of the trip, the team targeted everything from ultra-spooky triggerfish and hard-charging trevally to the seemingly endless numbers of bonefish that have made Christmas Island famous.
Part travel film, part fishing report, this episode offers a look at the incredible diversity, scenery, and species that continue to make Christmas Island one of the world's premier saltwater fly fishing destinations.
