CLIENT TRIP REPORT SOUTHERN BELIZE ROBERT’S GROVE RESORT & TINY ROBERT’S CAYE
Pete Schut and Michael Dinner just returned from a great couples trip with their wives to Southern Belize. They did a combo week at Robert’s Grove Resort in Placencia and tiny Robert’s Caye - a private island located seven miles off of the mainland. A great trip report and GREAT permit fishing for all of them!

"The trip to Placencia was a great holiday for Mike and I and our wives. Exactly what we were looking for (and needed). The fishing was much better than we anticipated as well. Catching permit was pretty special, and the ability to catch bonefish and jump some tarpon when the permit were slow rounded things out nicely. Probably the nicest surprise was the three nights we spent out at Robert’s Caye. The island facility was clean, the cooking was amazing (usually fresh fish, lobster or conch), there were no bugs or sand fleas, and it was in a perfect location to give us quick access to some of the best flats we’ve ever seen. The guides (Eworth, Eloy, and Pollo) were an absolute pleasure to spend the week with. Thanks again to the team at Yellow Dog team for setting us up with a memorable week! We will be going back to southern Belize, and it would be a pleasure to work with you guys again.”
