New Flight Options to Tulum and Belize

New Tulum Airport

Travel to portions of the Yucatan is about to get even easier! Ascension Bay, Espiritu Santo Bay, and Chetumal Bay will be easier and quicker to access with the addition of an airport in Tulum. 

Anglers who have traveled to this region have traditionally flown into Cancun before taking a shuttle south to their final destination. These shuttles ranged from 3-4 total hours to Ascension Bay and a 5-hour drive down to Chetumal. Flights into Tulum will shorten travel times by a couple of hours each way! 

For now, flights are direct from Mexico City with connections from the United States, but direct flights from America will follow.

Added Flights to Belize

Additionally, direct flights on JetBlue into Belize City from New York's John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK) begin December 6th. These flights will take place year-round three times a week. Travelers from JFK can now touch down in Belize City shortly after noon and avoid the headache of a connection!
