TEAM YELLOW DOG TAKES 1ST PLACE IN BELIZE TOURNAMENT
The 7th Annual Tres Pescados Fly Fishing Tournament just wrapped up after an action-packed week of flats fishing in northern Belize. Wil Flak put on another amazing event.
Team Yellow Dog Flyfishing Adventures team (Shaun Lawson and Doug McKnight) repeated last year's win with another first place performance to defend their title. The boys scored early on day one with a grand slam and from that point on, never looked back. Two more days of solid fishing delivered the first repeat championship ever in the tournament.The tournament raised a much-needed $15,000BZ, which will be donated to Oceana in Belize to continue their work in the fight against Gill Net fishing. We look forward to participating next year and questions are already being asked about a possible three-peat?! You never know!
