WHO WE ARE, WHAT WE DO FEEDING THE GREY GHOST

As Seen In The 2015 Yellow Dog Flyfishing Adventure Catalog

Hailing from the Island of Grand Bahama, Justin Lewis is a young Bahamian who knows a thing or two about catching bonefish. Born and raised on Grand Bahama (and having had the opportunity to travel to many of the other Bahamian islands), he has spent thousands of hours walking the flats in search of bonefish.

From a young age he had an affinity for the sea and the creatures that inhabit it, which put him on the path to becoming a marine biologist. He eventually achieved that dream by completing an undergraduate degree in Aquatic Resources and a Master’s in Marine Environmental Management.

Justin is currently the Bahamas Initiative Coordinator for the Bonefish and Tarpon Trust (BTT) and travels the islands conducting bonefish research and educating guides, fishermen and the public about the importance of the bonefish resource to the Bahamas. We had a chance to talk with Justin and ask him the secrets of his success when it comes to feeding, hooking and landing bonefish.
