Tanzania is home to trophy tigerfish, a silver-colored, toothy, predatory fish that will eat anything in their path from birds to mammals equal to their size. Chasing tigerfish is a pursuit for the serious adventurer as it does not get much more off-the-grid than Tanzania in the fly-fishing world. The season for pursuing tigerfish runs from August to November on Tanzania’s Mnyera and Ruhudji Rivers.
