Alaska Steelhead Company
Lodging Details
For the 2024 season, Alaska Steelhead Company is proud to be accommodating guests in their newly renovated lodge - perfectly situated near the area’s top fishing locations. The lodge is perched on the edge of a 200-foot cliff offering spectacular views overlooking the Cook Inlet and has been meticulously planned to provide guests with a great Alaskan stay and experience. The lodge itself boasts both single and double-occupancy rooms and cabins with private bathrooms and can accommodate up to 13 guests at a time. The lodge has five (5) single occupancy rooms, 3 rooms with private bathrooms and 2 of the rooms share a bathroom - perfect for buddies or parents and kids. The stand-alone double occupancy cabins each have 2 beds, a private bathroom, full kitchen, washer and dryer, fireplace, and living area. The lodge also features a central relaxing/dining area, fireplace, bar, and plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the landscape each evening.
Food and Beverages
Alaska Steelhead Company prides itself on delivering an incomparable culinary experience during each guest's stay. Chef Felix Barron and his team take a lot of pride in providing an exceptional menu and experience to all guests, so do not plan on going hungry!
The day begins with strong coffee and a hearty breakfast each morning. A shore lunch is provided streamside each day consisting of sandwiches, soups, snacks, and hot beverages on the colder days. Feel free to bring a flask as well for a hot cider in between fishing runs.
After your day on the water, dinner will be served back at the lodge and is a highlight of the day. Guests will enjoy a three-course meal with wine pairings each evening, consisting of fresh and locally sourced meats, halibut, salmon, crab, and delicious sides. Chef Felix and his team spare no expense and are happy to accommodate any dietary restrictions or special requests/cravings as needed.
Non-Angling Activities and Options
While Alaska Steelhead Company is a fishing-focused destination, this is also a great program for any non-anglers who would like to join and experience the incredible area. The lodge will provide guests with a vehicle (and host if requested) to accompany if you would like to discover the area on your own to see the sights and explore. ASC can also arrange for several other non-angling activities including day trips to Homer, fly-out sightseeing tours and bear viewing, hiking, clam digging, beach combing, and photography outings. The lodge also has a masseuse on staff daily if guests wish to take advantage of this service during their stay.
