Description

The Soft Milking Egg utilizes Otter’s Eggs material to create one of the most realistic egg imitations available. The translucent texture allows light to pass through naturally, closely matching the appearance of a real drifting egg underwater, while the soft feel helps imitate the texture of an actual egg when fish take it. Finished with a subtle veil, the fly has a natural milky profile that excels during active spawn periods when loose eggs are moving through the current.

This is a proven pattern for trout, salmon, char, and steelhead in everything from Great Lakes tributaries to Alaskan rivers.
