Description

Umpqua’s Dream Stream Plus tying scissors are designed with special care for the discerning fly tyer. The surgical grade Japanese stainless steel micro-serrated blades are shaped and hand set to cut smoothly and crisply through the whole length of the blades.

Longer, heavier blades and oversized handles make these scissors ideal for cutting bigger, thicker materials (particularly synthetics). Micro-serrated blades allow for excellent material “grip” and cutting and surgical grade Japanese steel result in long-lasting sharpness. Save your fine-tippet scissors for the finish work and make your material prep easier with these heavy duty (HD) scissors.

Dreamstream Scissors

These are must have for trimming, especially when tying EP style baitfish. You should never try trimming baitfish patterns with short scissors, as you'll end up over-trimming or without a nice transition. I also use them for cutting out patches of hair/fur where I need a little bit more power and don't want to dull the scissors I use for finishing work.
