Developed by Kelly Galloup as an evolution of Maddin's original Circus Peanut, the Peanut Envy is a compact, articulated streamer designed to trigger aggressive strikes from big predatory trout. Featuring a double-hook setup with a conehead for weight, it’s tied with marabou, rubber legs, hackle, and ice dubbing to create a lifelike profile with excellent movement and flash. The articulation allows for a swimming, darting action that mimics wounded baitfish, making it especially effective when stripped or jigged through deeper runs, pools, and around structure.
