"Matt and I had an unbelievable time and made some tremendous memories. We loved the team there at Pesca Maya, Martha was the best host and we got to share camp with a couple of really great guys. We fished with “Poncho” an older guide with a limp and 30+ years of experience to show for it. He was methodical and quiet, but very eager to coach and help us. We really hit it off with Poncho, he was a very kind man and went to great lengths to help.
Our flight didn’t leave until 4 on our exit day and Martha went above and beyond to try to wrangle us a later ride so we could try fishing for just a couple more hours on the morning of our departure. It took some serious planning but she pulled it off, and as a result we got our only 3 permit, 2 on the fly and 1 on a spinning real, we also paired that up with 3 bones and 2 snook for Matt’s 2nd slam of the week….her efforts paid off and this was the morning of the trip for sure.
Also, I want to share that your fly shop manager did great, my 10wt was clutch and I had all the right flies and leaders.
All in all you guys knocked it out of the park and I will definitely book again."
