How To Get There
Your trip starts upon arrival at Anchorage International Airport (ANC). Several major airlines serve Alaska from the Lower 48 with connections direct to Anchorage.

Arrival and Departure Details / Times
Upon booking, Yellow Dog and Riversong will arrange a charter flight between Anchorage and the Lodge (the cost of which is included in your package). Anglers can arrive and depart on any day of the week, and stay as many nights as they choose based on current availability.

Documents Required
Photo identification is required by airlines to purchase your Alaska Fishing License. Licenses can be purchased on the first day of your trip or online before your trip by visiting this website: Alaska Department of Fish and Game.

General Information
Located directly on the banks of the Yentna River, Riversong Lodge has direct access to some of the best Pacific salmon sport-fishing opportunities near the Anchorage area. Depending on the week, both fly and conventional anglers can enjoy targeting all five species of Pacific Salmon.

The standout for the Riversong Lodge fishing program is the Lake Creek tributary. Riversong calls the stream their home water and prides themselves on their knowledge of the watershed and effective techniques. While Lake Creek also receives all five runs of Pacific salmon, its specialty is the large resident rainbow trout, Arctic char, Dolly Varden, and grayling fishing it offers each season. Relatively small in width and flow, Lake Creek is the perfect stream for wade anglers looking for an intimate experience fishing for the trout and salmon opportunities that Alaska has become famous for. The scenery of the tributary is also spectacular, with gorgeous landscapes of Denali and the Alaska range, high-banked fern forests, and wildlife viewing opportunities available each day on the water. Lake Creek has also become known for its sheer volume of fish species available, making it the perfect river for both experienced and novice anglers alike.

Boats and Equipment
Riversong Lodge utilizes 18-foot, shallow-draft aluminum boats outfitted with jet-driven engines, along with larger custom-built jet boats specifically designed for the Lake Creek fishery. Because you don’t have to fly out each day to experience great fishing, your angling hours will not be affected by poor weather conditions or low visibility. Riversong Lodge can also outfit each angler and guest with any rods, reels, lines, flies, terminal tackle, or hip waders they might need. It is recommended each angler bring their own chest waders and non-felt wading boots for their stay.

Remember that Yellow Dog’s services are completely free! When you book a trip with Yellow Dog, you never pay more than when you book directly with the lodge or outfitter. All prices listed below are per person, based on double occupancy, and quoted in U.S. dollars.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS – CANCELLATIONS
A non-refundable deposit of 50% per person is due at the time of booking for all trip packages, and final payment if due 90 days prior to arrival. For cancellations, all deposits and payments are non-refundable. In no event will the operator or Yellow Dog be responsible for any cancellation of services due to inclement weather, any event of force majeure, airline delays or flight cancellations, or any other reason beyond the control of the lodge. Because of the operator’s no refund and no credit policy, Yellow Dog strongly recommends that anglers and guests purchase travel insurance for your trip. The operator will not refund payments in the event of poor weather. If your flights are cancelled and connections are missed, the operator and Yellow Dog are not responsible for alternative travel arrangements including flights, hotels, meals and any other expenses incurred. If a cancelled package is resold by either the operator or by Yellow Dog Flyfishing Adventures, then a full refund will be issued minus a $100.00 per person service fee charged by the lodge and a $100.00 per person cancellation fee charged by Yellow Dog. Receipt of deposit and/or final payment is acknowledgment that registrant has read and accepts the deposit, cancellation, refund and responsibility clauses for these packages. Once again, Yellow Dog strongly recommends that anglers and guests purchase travel insurance these Alaska packages.

Payment Terms For All Yellow Dog Trip Bookings
In order to lock in your trip reservation, we ask that you please remit payment at the time of receipt of invoice. For your convenience, Yellow Dog accepts on-line payments via a direct and secure ACH platform – a quick and easy way to complete your trip reservation. Note that all Yellow Dog invoices include a live link that takes you directly to the Yellow Dog ACH platform for fast and easy payment. For open and existing invoices with a remaining balance, payment reminders also include this easy link to the ACH page.

Other customary forms of payment that are accepted are checks or wire transfers. If you would like to pay in a different way or have any questions about alternate payment methods, please contact Yellow Dog at (888) 777-5060 or (406) 585-8667. We are available Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Beginning September 1st, 2020, Yellow Dog will apply a 3% convenience fee for all credit card transactions.
