Longtime Alaskan guides Kate and Justin Crump, along with their incredible team of guides, pilots, and staff, know this area better than anyone and take pride in making all guests feel welcome and a part of the family. Lodging Details
Renovated in 2022, the lodge consists of four modern guest cabins with private bathrooms and comfortable accommodations. The main lodge sits on a bluff overlooking the Naknek and is the main gathering place for meals, cocktails, and relaxation after a day of fishing. The picture windows overlooking the Naknek offer great opportunities for wildlife viewing from the back deck, making the lodge the perfect place to unwind after daily adventures.
Dining
The Lodge at 58 North takes great pride in providing an exceptional culinary experience. Each morning the lodge chef prepares breakfast to order with coffee, tea, and juice available. Lunch is served on the water each day with your guides and is packed to your liking with fresh local ingredients, homemade bread, reusable YETI water bottles, and snacks. Dinner starts off with appetizers in the main lodge, with main courses to follow. The Lodge at 58 North serves a variety of delicious meals including freshly caught salmon, locally sourced meats, fresh produce, and a variety of sides each evening.
Typical Length of Stay
The standard package is six (6) nights and six (6) full days of fishing and a Sunday – Saturday itinerary. Shorter packages can be accommodated depending on availability.
Non-Angling Activities and Options
While most guests are coming to fish, the Lodge at 58 North offers a variety of non-angling activities such as bear viewing, hiking, beachcombing, touring the Valley of Ten Thousand Smokes, birdwatching, and photography. The guides know this area extremely well and will make sure everyone in your group has a fantastic Alaskan Wilderness experience.

The lodge has Wi-Fi available for guests. Cell coverage is extremely limited in this region of Alaska.
Travel Details
How To Get There
Your trip starts upon arrival at Anchorage’s Ted Stevens International Airport (ANC). Several major airlines serve Alaska from the Lower 48 with connections direct to Anchorage. From there, you will fly to King Salmon, Alaska.
Arrival/Departure Details/Times
We recommend that guests overnight in Anchorage the day before a trip begins and then connect to King Salmon the following day. Anglers can potentially fly all the way out to King Salmon in one day depending on their airport of origin.
Documents Required
Photo identification is required by airlines to purchase your Alaska Fishing License. Licenses can be purchased on the first day of your trip or online before your trip by visiting this website: Alaska Department of Fish and Game.

General Information
The Lodge at 58 North offers one of the most diverse fishing programs in the entire state of Alaska, along with one of the best home water rivers right out of their back door. The Naknek River is a world-class option for trout and Pacific salmon fishing opportunities throughout the season. The lodge also includes all fly-outs in your package, so anglers have the option to choose from dozens of locations in the Bristol Bay region each day based on fishing conditions. The guides have an incredible wealth of knowledge and experience in the Bristol Bay region and will sit down with guests each evening to discuss the best options for the following day.
Boats and Equipment
The lodge has a variety of boats and rafts stationed throughout the region, each serving a specific purpose and in top condition. The lodge also has its own aircraft and professional pilots that will transfer anglers and guides each day for fly-out options. If needed, The Lodge at 58 North can also provide anglers with high-quality rods, reels, and lines for each fishing day. Flies and lures are included in each package, but anglers are encouraged to bring their own waders, boots, and rain gear for their stay.

Six (6) nights / six (6) full fishing days: $14,250.00 per person
What’s Included:

THE LODGE AT 58 NORTH TERMS AND CONDITIONS – CANCELLATIONS
Receipt of deposit and/or final payment is acknowledgment that registrant has read and accepts the deposit, cancellation, refund and responsibility clauses for these packages. A non-refundable deposit of 50% per person is due at the time of booking for all lodging and fishing packages, and final payment if due 90 days prior to arrival. For cancellations, all deposits and payments are non-refundable. In no event will the lodge or Yellow Dog be responsible for any cancellation of services or operations due to inclement weather, any event of force majeure, airline delays or flight cancellations, or any other reason beyond the control of the lodge. The lodge will not refund payments in the event of poor weather, or if arrival flights are cancelled or airline connections are missed. Additionally, the lodge and Yellow Dog are not responsible for alternative travel arrangements including flights, hotels, meals and any other expenses incurred. For all of these reasons, and because of the lodge’s no refund and no credit policy, Yellow Dog strongly recommends that anglers and guests purchase travel insurance and full coverage for your trip. If a cancelled package is resold by either the lodge or by Yellow Dog Flyfishing Adventures, then a full refund will be issued minus a $100.00 per person fee charged by Yellow Dog. Once again, Yellow Dog strongly recommends that anglers and guests purchase travel insurance these Alaska packages.

Payment Terms For All Yellow Dog Trip Bookings
In order to lock in your trip reservation, we ask that you please remit payment at the time of receipt of invoice. For your convenience, Yellow Dog accepts on-line payments via a direct and secure ACH platform – a quick and easy way to complete your trip reservation. Note that all Yellow Dog invoices include a live link that takes you directly to the Yellow Dog ACH platform for fast and easy payment. For open and existing invoices with a remaining balance, payment reminders also include this easy link to the ACH page.
Other customary forms of payment that are accepted are checks or wire transfers. If you would like to pay in a different way or have any questions about alternate payment methods, please contact Yellow Dog at (888) 777-5060 or (406) 585-8667. We are available Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Beginning September 1st, 2020, Yellow Dog will apply a 3% convenience fee for all credit card transactions.
