Experience the Finest Alaska has to Offer
For more than 50 years, Enchanted Lake Lodge has provided anglers with incredible fishing experiences, high-end accommodations, superb cuisine and the finest customer service – all in one of the most beautiful settings in Alaska. Located on the banks of Novianuk Lake in Katmai National Park, Enchanted Lake has established its reputation as one of the top operations in the world. Lodge manager Daren Erickson has used his 30-plus years of experience guiding and operating lodges in Alaska to establish a program that will satisfy even the most seasoned traveler’s expectations.
Built-in 1961 and remodeled in 2002, Enchanted Lake Lodge hosts a maximum of 12 guests per week in an intimate setting. The beautiful Main Lodge features a full bar, two viewing decks, dining area, and gift and tackle shop. Each private cabin is equipped with luxurious bedding and mattresses, private bathroom, and 24-hour electricity. The grounds also house a wood-burning sauna in which to relax each evening after a day on the water. Enchanted Lake’s staff take pride in providing personal attention and service to each guest.
The cuisine at Enchanted Lake Lodge rivals that of any five-star restaurant. Expect breakfasts cooked to order each morning, and gourmet lunches served each day on the river. At the end of each day, guests are greeted with the traditional Lodge brandy and appetizers before a delicious dinner, served with complimentary fine wines, beer, and top-grade spirits from the bar. Guides join guests around the dining table to discuss daily excursions, tell fishing tales, and plan the following day’s adventures.

Located in the heart of Bristol Bay and Katmai National Park, Enchanted Lake Lodge focuses on the region’s prolific numbers of trophy rainbow trout, arctic char, Dolly Varden and grayling. All 5 species of Pacific salmon are available throughout the season, but Enchanted Lake prides itself on being a “rainbow focused” destination. Your daily itinerary will change depending on your preferences and the best fishing conditions during your trip. With close proximity to many of Alaska’s most productive fisheries, you will have access to many of the world-famous trout streams for which the state is known.
Fishing options at Enchanted Lake include the Kulik River, American, Brooks, Battle, Big and Little Ku, Moraine, Funnel, Kvichak, and many more. Enchanted Lake takes great pride in having a solid, well-versed group of guides. A day on the water with one of these experts will not disappoint even the most seasoned angler!
Boats and Equipment
Lodge aircraft include two beautifully rebuilt DeHavilland Beavers for access to multiple rivers each day during your stay. The Lodge also has two brand new Wooldridge boats for striking the Kulik River from Nonvianuk Lake, and many jet boats stationed across Bristol Bay’s most productive streams for rapid relocation during your day on the water. The Lodge is also equipped with small rafts to access multiple miles of rivers, allowing anglers to cover lots of water while still being able to get out and wade productive runs. Although the lodge can provide gear of the highest quality, it is recommended that anglers bring their own rods, reels, waders, and wading boots.
