Patagonia Wading Staff

I purchased to staffs to see which one might be better. The Patagonia and one by Orvis. The Patagonia staff doesn’t seems as well thought out as the Orvis staff. How you attach IDs to your belt is clunky and the bag is flimsy whereas the Orvis has a more solid bag that holds the staff securely. The Patagonia staff seems a bit flimsy and just how you put it together is a little clunkier. It will work and I’ll keep it but it will likely be my backup.
